My first lesson was Image workshop with Darren. I found it very exciting. It was really funny, relaxing and with some feeling of "freedom' in actions. After Darren's phrase " I am gonna teach you how do draw' I was rally stressed because of my "crooked" hands that never drawn good in my life. However, workshop shown me, that you may not be a Picasso or Monet, to draw.
We started with thinking about "draw" word meaning. We've been given a time to right our own definition of this word. Mine was:
"Draw - creating a piece of visual work with your hands and imagination"
After that, Darren told the definition from vocabulary and also said that we can use it any time to define the clear understanding of the word or subject in the future. Then, we took an interesting object to draw with few technics. Firstly we drawn them with looking on object, for approximately 5 minutes. Then, we've been asked to do that without looking on the paper (Blind Contour Drawing). Pictures were disgusting :) However with more practise, you can do something more interesting.
The most exciting exercise was Mapping Exercise . We've been given a picture of leaf and examples what to do with it :)
So, we needed to make something like this :) Unfortunately, I hadn't got my camera with me and I have no images....
After Lunch We've been given a collages exercises. By the way, collage is a great thing to generate an idea.
Finally, we've been given a task to make 100 collages until 10 of December.
Hard working month :)
