I am a little bit late with post about Museum of Everything. Thought about what to say when everything had been said by my classmates :)
Museum of everything. When I saw these doors firs time, they reminded me Amsterdam ( u probably know why:)) |
This exhibition was not only Sir Peter Blake collection, also it was a box of human fears and nice place to someone who quit drugs but still want to have the feeling. It reminded me my childhood just for few minutes. Also, I understood that circus was an art. Not that cheap show that we have to watch nowadays ( except cirque du soleil). All that posters, costumes, and etc. just make you feel excited. However I am not gonna lie that I love clowns:) Yes, I afraid them as well, just because of their make up. This mouth...that connecting with ears...brr... I never liked them.
Circus affiches. Half of them made like Catholic pictures with execution on them |
I think that humans' cruelty developing from century to century but in different things. First they went for executions for their pleasure, then they adored laughing at different people and so on.. |
Bloody clowns.. |
Dolls are one of my biggest fears. I don't know why, but I really afraid of them. So this room with toys was reeeeally scary. Especially doll with two faces..
This room with shells, amazed me cause of Sir Peter Blake's assiduity. Thousands of shells... |
Room with stuffed animals was just shocking. Small rooms with hamsters playing poker and signs like 'happy family' ..just too sarcastic:) from this part people who quit drugs felt like they really had their day fix :) I felt dizziness in that room but it was funny.
Happy family |
Hazardous hamsters |
I just felt like I am at high school exhibition to biological museum |
Well, my final feeling about this exhibition was really good. It is something new in my life. A lot of staff remind me Museum of Branding and Advertising. It is not big, but you can spend there more than 3 hours just looking at every piece of exhibition. The only minus in organisation is absolutely gigantic prices in museum shop and absence of brochures of exhibition ( main source for writing posts:)).
I think I will go back to this exhibition again. Early morning, empty stomach..I didn't really get it. So, I will be back .
